A flexible piece, this heavy, scalloped textured crystal glass design from Lars Hellsten for Orrefors in Sweden in the ‘70s, has rounded indentations that can be used to hold tealight candles or small snacks like strawberries or devilled eggs. Do people still eat those? It is so striking though that it will also sit beautifully on its own as a display piece. It’s 31cm in diameter and 5.5cm high and is in excellent vintage condition.
